Findhorn’s Misfortunes

The attractive village of Findhorn has suffered more than most from weather. There is evidence of an original village in existence in 1189 but as a result of storms in the seventeenth century, this village was buried by sand dunes. A new village was built which was in turn destroyed by flooding in 1701. Third time lucky?
